Apple Enterprise Insurance Terms And Conditions

Insured Equipment: Insured Model as shown on purchase Invoice restricted only to Apple products such as iPhone / iPads

Cover Period: 12 months from the date of 1st purchase of Insured Equipment by Beneficiary

Sum Insured: Declared value or MRP or Invoice Value whichever is lower

  1. Scope of Cover:
    1. Provided insured/Beneficiary/User has purchased Insured Equipment and the same is mentioned in the Invoice to end customer i.e. Insured/Beneficiary/User and Proposer have declared Insured Equipment to Insurer and paid appropriate premium. Insurer in the following event to Insured Equipment will accept liability towards repair or replacement with same or similar equipment or at their option will arrange for payment as per Policy Terms and Conditions, if equipment
      1. Suffers accidental physical damage to the Insured Equipment and/or such damage cause’s Equipment to stop working
      2. Fails to work because accidentally fluid has entered its internal circuitry, resulting into stoppage of the insured Equipment
      3. Fire, lightening and explosion
      4. Act of god perils
      5. Damage or theft during riot, strike & malicious damage
      6. Burglary including theft and housebreaking
    2. Insured will not be eligible for any compensation, for any loss or damage to accessories even if forming a part of standard pack or to any complimentary or ancillary product/s, made available
  2. Exclusions:

    This Insurance policy does not cover:

    1. Loss, such as lost, forgotten/misplaced/left unattended, missing, fallen and any loss under mysterious circumstances
    2. Loss resulting from or caused by theft, or attempted theft of insured equipment, left in unattended vehicle or room
    3. Loss due to intentional act or willful neglect
    4. Loss due to negligence, intentionally misplaced, pick pocketing, left unattended & forgotten at a public place
    5. Physical Damage which is not visible and has not occurred by an external force
    6. Loss arising after 12 months from date of purchase
    7. Any loss due to hire or loan of the Insured Equipment to a third party or if ownership is transferred
    8. Loss arising due to unlawful act including Terrorist activity, War, Nuclear Explosion, Radioactive Contamination, Chemical, Biochemical, Biological, Electromagnetic, Cyber Attack etc
    9. Any loss if the Insured Equipment is not connected to any cellular network of service provider
    10. Consequential loss of any kind or description including wear & tear, manufacturing defects etc
    11. Loss caused by incorrect storage, poor care and maintenance, careless use, gross negligence, incorrect installation and incorrect set-up
    12. Loss covered by supplier, dealer or factory warranty
    13. Any loss of data or software installed in the Insured Equipment
    14. Any loss arising outside the territorial limits of India
    15. Any loss which is cosmetic in nature and does not result in to complete stoppage of/or functioning of Insured Equipment
    16. Any loss which is due to regular wear and tear and does not result into complete stoppage of/ or functioning of Insured Equipment and loss affecting to SIM card and/or any ancillary product etc. even if the Insured Equipment results into complete stoppage of working
    17. Any loss prior to delivery of Insured Equipment, if purchased online
    18. Damaged device where the IMEI cannot be identified. Please note that the IMEI mentioned on the SIM tray will not be considered as an identification of the device IMEI.
  3. Compensation Payable during a claim:
    1. In case of Total Loss:

      Compensation for any total loss claims will be by way of NEFT or payment to the
      Insured Account by suitable mode or by a Purchase Voucher. Maximum liability per Insured
      Equipment shall be the Sum Insured, subject to excess and depreciation depending on age of the
      Insured Equipment, calculated from date of purchase of the device, to the date & time of loss

    2. In case of Partial Loss:

      Compensation for any Partial Loss claims will be by way of repair or exchange as per
      Apple Service Policies to the Insured Equipment and reimbursement by way of NEFT/payment to the
      Authorized Service Provider or Servify (Service aggregator). Maximum liability shall be cost of
      repair or exchange cost, subject to any applicable excess fees (if any). If the repair or
      exchange cost or maximum liability at the time of loss exceeds the total loss settlement value,
      Insurer shall settle the claim on Total Loss classifying it as BER (Beyond Economic Repair)

    If the repair value is more than the compensation payable, Beneficiary has to bear the difference between repair value and approved amount

  4. Depreciation

    The Sum Insured or maximum liability shall be calculated as follows by applying depreciation on the claim value only for Total Loss cases:

    Maximum one claim shall be compensated by the Insurer during the policy period; Subject to maximum liability or Sum Insured value applicable at the time of loss

  5. Condition of the Policy:

    User or Beneficiary agrees that:

    1. User or Beneficiary takes all reasonable steps to safeguard the Insured Equipment against any potential loss or damage
    2. In the event of loss, User or Beneficiary declares/discloses all the material facts about the incidence or event and submit salvage
    3. In the event of a loss, all benefits shall be forfeited, where there are any misrepresentations, mis-description or non disclosure of any material fact significant to admission of liability and assessment of loss
  6. Claim Procedures:
    1. In the event of a loss:Insured or Beneficiary is required to do following steps:
      1. An immediate intimation (not later than 48 hours from the date and time of loss) about loss should be given to Servify via its support channels comprising of Apple Enterprise App or Portal or Call Center Number
      2. All claim related documents or correspondence need to be submitted to Servify and all such documents or correspondence should reach Servify not later than 15 calendar days from the date and time of the event of loss
    2. In the event of a Damage:Insured or Beneficiary is required to do following steps:
      1. An immediate intimation (not later than 48 hours from the date and time of loss) about the damage should be given to Servify via its support channels comprising of Apple Enterprise App or Portal or Call Center Number
      2. The event needs to be notified to Servify with cause or reason of damage & obtain service estimate towards damage
      3. Do not get the damaged Insured Equipment repaired unless intimated over helpline of Servify & further authorized by Servify
    3. In the event of a Theft:Insured or Beneficiary is required to do following steps:
      1. The event should be immediately (not later than 48 hours from the date and time of loss) reported to the nearest police authorities and police FIR confirmation to be furnished
      2. The event will have to be simultaneously notified to the cellular network service provider not later than 48 hours from the date and time of loss and a written acknowledgment on confirmation of barring of SIM services from network service provider to be furnished
      3. An immediate intimation (not later than 48 hours from the date and time of theft) about the theft should be given to Servify via its support channels comprising of Apple Enterprise App or Portal or Call Center Number or email along with the confirmation of police reporting and SIM barring
